Networking Mixer: Development Dialogues
The Women in Development - New Jersey (WID-NJ) board is honored to invite all women in New Jersey working in the development and nonprofit sector for an in-person networking mixer!
Along with the opportunity to network with other female nonprofit professionals, attendees will have the opportunity to have in-depth discussions on development practices at our "pop-up roundtables."
Date: Wednesday, April 17th, 6 to 8 pm
Location: Blue Steel Pizza Company - 285U, 285 Glenwood Ave, Bloomfield, NJ
Food: Light fare & sodas/beverages will be provided. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased on a personal tab.
Attendees: Both WID members and nonmembers are invited! Please extend the invitation to other women working in development and nonprofit fields.
Cost: $20 for Members, $30 for Nonmembers.

Kyle Foor is a veteran storyteller of 10 years. Initially a freelancer for large agencies and corporations, Kyle switched to the non-profit realm to focus on stories that lead to impactful change. His conversational approach to interviewing clients has allowed him to create hundreds of impactful stories, and learn more about his clients in the process. His new mission is teaching storytelling to non-profit leaders, because he knows that anyone can learn to tell a story!

RESCHEDULED! WID-NJ Open House 2024: Career Exploration and Success
Women in Development - New Jersey (WID-NJ) Board of Directors invites our fellow female nonprofit and fundraising professionals to join us for a free open house focused on career support and advancement.
This event will include “pop-up roundtables” focusing on resume & cover letter writing (bring yours with you!), changing careers & job searching, making a mentor match, and becoming a consultant. In addition, our open house is a place to network with your fellow development and nonprofit professionals and learn more about WID-NJ.
Both nonmembers and members are welcome to attend this event at no cost - registration is required.
As a benefit to our members, we are offering a professional headshots! Shotwell Productions will be onsite to provide this service to members of WID-NJ.
Please note: members who would like to receive a headshot will sign up for a time slot at the event. When registering, please answer the question regarding the headshot opportunity so that we can plan accordingly.
